The images below were generated with Copilot Pro during a one month free trial period. The original plan was to exhaustively test the capabilities of the voice features.

When signing up for the trial, Microsoft insisted on being vague about just how much time was meant by “extended”, even in the dense text of the terms, or the policies or whichever legal document is supposed to contain the clear truth about the service you’re receiving.

I guess they have the budget for big-time lawyers with a record of irrefutable advice, so who am I to say how they should do business. There’s what I like, and there’s what Microsoft do. No similarity, mostly.

Only two days into the trial, and the app is failing to recognize my Pro upgrade. Might be the latest Apple update that mucked things up, but I’ll never really know. And, I’ll never really know just how awesome Copilot could be. I’m generally impressed with the capabilities, hence the easy inducement to the free trial.

Alas, it seems I’ve stubbornly refused to learn my lesson when it comes to Microsoft. I’m pretty sure they hate me. Or at least, they’re indifferent. I’ve put up with their products over the years because they were ubiquitous. Apple hasn’t fallen far from the same tree. Annoying, when the corporate empires give up on satisfying their customers. Shame.

Shame. Shame. Ring the shame bell. I don’t have the time or the will to even attempt contacting anyone in customer service. It would probably be a Copilot anyways. And it might be out of voice time for the day. Sucks. Should’ve upgraded to Pro Employee. Get with the times Cho’d. All the cool kids are buying hats.
